Caia Koopman is born in Livermore (California, USA). Besides her academic education, Caia also learned to skate ramps, streets and pools. Being seduced by the local skateboarding scene, she started to make skateboard graphics and limited edition T-shirt designs. Later she turned her attention to snowboarding, and was inspired to strive for a career creating snowboard graphics. Now she works as a freelance illustrator and painter.
