Two weeks ago I ordered this comic from Michel Gondry, We Lost The War But Not The Battle. And it finally arrived today. It’s his debut album. I know it already came out last year, but I didn’t know until recently he made comic books. :)

The story is about 4 friends who are called back in their 40’s to join the French army. They are sent on a mission to fight a group of communists wanting to take over Île-de-France. Yes that sounds a bit crazy, but it’s funny as hell. And the story has more where that came from. Guns, girls, booze, blood and explosions. Definitely one for your collection!
